Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation charges, refund eligibility and the rights available to you.
1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to travel reservations arranged by AIR FLIGHT TICKETS LTD, trading as Air Flight Tickets. Our registered company number is 17422145.
We are committed to explaining cancellation charges, refund eligibility and the rights available to customers.
All refunds remain subject to applicable supplier conditions and statutory consumer protections.
2. Voluntary flight cancellations
Customers wishing to cancel a flight should contact us as early as possible.
Refund eligibility depends on the airline's applicable fare conditions and the customer's legal rights. Some tickets are non-refundable if cancelled voluntarily. Other tickets may allow full or partial refunds, subject to applicable conditions.
Where a cancellation charge or administration fee applies, we will explain the amount and basis of the charge before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.
3. No universal 24-hour cancellation guarantee
Air Flight Tickets does not offer a universal free 24-hour flight cancellation guarantee. Any such allowance depends on the relevant airline's policy or applicable law.
The general 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts does not ordinarily apply to passenger transport services.
These limitations do not remove statutory refund rights.
4. Airline-initiated cancellations
Where a flight is cancelled by an airline, the customer may be entitled to reimbursement or re-routing under applicable passenger-rights legislation.
For qualifying flights covered by UK passenger-rights rules, the airline generally must issue the refund within seven days after the passenger elects reimbursement.
Where payment was made through an intermediary, the process of returning money to the customer may involve additional processing steps. We will provide reasonable assistance and keep customers informed of relevant developments.
We will not unlawfully restrict statutory refund entitlements.
5. Schedule changes and delays
If an airline makes a significant schedule change, the customer's options may include rebooking, re-routing or a refund, depending on applicable legislation and airline conditions.
Minor changes may be subject to the airline's standard terms.
We will communicate available options once confirmed by the relevant supplier.
6. Voluntary ticket amendments
Date changes, route changes, passenger corrections and other amendments are subject to applicable supplier conditions.
Additional fares and disclosed administration charges may apply.
An amendment is confirmed only when accepted and processed by the relevant supplier.
7. Missed flights and no-shows
A passenger who fails to check in or board may become subject to the airline's no-show conditions. Remaining flight segments may be affected.
Eligibility for refunds of unused fare components, taxes or other charges will be assessed under applicable law and supplier rules.
8. Hotel cancellations
Hotel cancellation conditions depend on the confirmed accommodation rate.
Flexible reservations may permit cancellation before the specified deadline. Non-refundable reservations may not qualify for voluntary cancellation refunds.
Customers retain applicable legal remedies where contracted accommodation is cancelled or not properly supplied.
9. Holiday package cancellations
Where a booking qualifies as a package under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, statutory cancellation and refund rules apply.
Customers may terminate a package before departure, subject to an appropriate and justifiable termination fee where permitted.
Where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination or its immediate vicinity significantly affect the package or passenger transport, customers may qualify for termination without a fee.
If the organiser cancels the package or makes certain significant changes, customers may be entitled to a refund. Refunds required under the relevant package-travel provisions must be provided without undue delay and no later than 14 days after termination of the package contract.
10. Fees and charges
Any Air Flight Tickets booking, amendment or cancellation fee must be disclosed before the relevant transaction.
The refundability of such fees depends on the agreed service, the work performed, applicable contractual terms and consumer law.
We will not retain a charge where doing so would unlawfully diminish a statutory refund entitlement.
11. Refund request procedure
To request a refund:
- Email hello@airflighttickets.co.uk.
- Provide your booking reference and lead passenger name.
- Identify the travel service and reason for the request.
- Include any relevant airline or supplier communication.
We will review the circumstances, explain the relevant conditions and identify the available refund options.
Where refunds involve a ticketing partner, airline or other supplier, we may need to coordinate with that party.
12. Refund payment method and timing
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where possible.
We will arrange refunds without undue delay and in accordance with applicable statutory deadlines. We will provide reasonable updates if supplier or payment-processing steps are required.
A supplier's administrative processes do not remove statutory rights or extend mandatory legal deadlines.
13. Exceptional circumstances
Severe weather, security incidents, government restrictions, strikes, natural disasters and other exceptional events may disrupt travel.
Available remedies depend on the type of booking, relevant legislation and the circumstances. Exceptional events do not automatically eliminate all refund rights.
14. Payment disputes
Customers who believe a transaction is fraudulent or unauthorised should notify their payment provider immediately and contact us.
Nothing in this policy limits applicable chargeback or payment-services rights.
15. Complaints
Customers may submit complaints to hello@airflighttickets.co.uk.
We will investigate refund disputes and explain the available resolution or escalation options. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
