Why Disneyland Is A Must For The Kids

Disney animations are iconic media artifacts that transcend age and gender in terms of their appeal, from Dumbo to The Incredibles, every Walt Disney production so far has comjured up a genuinely believable yet fantastically outlandish locale and believable characters that audiences can connect with emotionally and that will be revisited time and time again. This same Disney magic is recreated in the world famous Walt Disney World resort in Florida where scenes and stars from the animations are brought to life in a spectacle of entertainment and fun. Disney World is often the centerpiece of Florida holidays and with good reason, families can often spend two weeks in the resort and barely scratch the surface of all the activities and experiences on offer.

The resort consists over more than ten theme-parks all with different areas and niches. The Magic Kingdom for example is the crux of the resort and offers an all round experience for grown-ups and kids alike, the rides are geared towards younger visitors and the is an abundance or Disney characters wondering around just waiting to give the kids a hug and an autograph! Attractions to tempt the braver souls can be found at MGM and Universal studios , these are not strictly part of the Disney empire but almost always form part of the Orlando experience. The King Kong and Jaws rides may be a bit too extreme for younger children but offer an exhilarating thrill for those who like to live on the edge, much more breath taking than gambling on Las Vegas holidays!

For those wanting to learn something as well as have fun, the Epcot park has the perfect balance of education and excitement, the body works simulator for example provides a computer generated tour on the human body with the twists, jerks and turns of a simulator. You might have seen a few 3D movies recently but Disney world adds another dimension to this concept to create 4D movies! Any lover of the ‘Honey I Shrunk¦’ series will love ‘Honey I Shrunk the Audience’, especially when a 20ft dog sneezes on you, coating you in slimy snot! To label Disney world as a holiday just for kids would be a huge oversight. the resort really does have something for everyone and although some may resent its’ ‘fakeness’ it is an experience certainly worth having even if you’re not to keen on Disney Miami Holidays.
