Pet Lovers are increasingly attached to their pets in recent years that owners have started carrying their pets on their European flights to Faro! From Dalmatian dogs to little cute tabby cats, we’ve seen them being carried around in hand bags and animal carriers, and more recently we have seen an increase of pets being taken abroad on family vacations. There’s also been a great exposure of celebrities doing this by the media . This has influenced and given the social circle the courage and motivation to accept it as a social norm and as a result, we as pet owners seem to have accepted pets as one of our own family members .
Pet expenditure has risen significantly in the last two decades, with countries like the USA spending two times more in 2010 than in 1994 . The most popular animal travellers are primarily dogs, with cats being the second most travelled animals .
