NovoVirus Potentially No Longer An Issue With Cruising
Unfortunately, while the majority of people would associate a relaxing holiday with cruising, many other people would immediately think of the much publicised NovoVirus.
The NovoVirus is a mix of different viruses that affect the small intestines and stomach, causing an infected person to suffer from stomach pains, vomiting, cramps and diarrhoea, amongst others. The public tend to think of the disease when they think of cruising because the potential link between the two has been so well publicised.
However, a new machine called Cirrus 3 (The Fresh Air Machine) could present a solution to the issue faced by sea and river cruises. Despite its name, the Cirrus 3 is more than just an air filter – its a biotechnology product that uses hydroxl radicals in order to eleminate the harmful bacterias that cause the NovoVirus.
The NovoVirus is generally spread through human contact, touching contaminated surfaces or eating something prepared by someone infected by the virus. The Cirrus 3 machine can effectively sanitise the entire room or building, drastically improving your chances of staying healthy.
The system could benefit far more sectors than just those concerned with Nile River cruises, as the technology can be employed at home, at school, the library, gym, bars, restaurants, hotels and many, many more.
Although the majority of cruise liners are doing quite a good job of attempting to tackle the NovoVirus, (putting a strict code of conduct and general precautions in place), the Cirrus 3 helps them remove the problem altogether; hugely reassuring customers.
The machine also has the added benefit of making customers feel more assured and confident when taking a cruising holiday, which could potentially up the demand for them.
So if you were thinking about taking your family on a cruise holiday but were put off by the NovoVirus fears, maybe nows the time to take advantage of those seasonanal cruise offers.
