One of Madrid’s most interesting places is the gorgeous Plaza Mayor. This plaza has been around for quite some time, and in it’s long history, it’s been everything from a bull fighting ring to a tournament arena to an execution site and more. It’s definitely a popular place for both tourists and locals, and it’s easy to spend all day exploring the shops and eating at the restaurants.
